Smriti Mandhana's brilliant performance at Trent Bridge was a historic one, setting a new benchmark for her and for Indian women's cricket as a whole.

Leading from the front in the first T20I, Smriti Mandhana hammered a scintillating 112 runs off 62 balls which was her maiden T20I ton, to power India to a formidable total of 210 against England.

In achieving this feat, Mandhana became only the second Indian woman cricketer to reach a century in T20 Internationals, joining her fellow teammate Harmanpreet Kaur in this exclusive club.

Smriti Mandhana reached her century in a swift 51 balls. This remarkable feat made her the first Indian woman cricketer to have scored centuries in all three formats of the game.
