Rishabh Pant notched up another milestone during the first Test against England at Headingley, Leeds as he completed 150 catches in the longest format

Rishabh Pant joined MS Dhoni and Syed Kirmani in elite list of Indian wicketkeepers with 150 catches or more

Notably, Pant became the fastest to reach the landmark for India. While legendary wicketkeepers Syed Kirmani and MS Dhoni reached similar feats earlier in their careers, Pant accomplished this in a remarkably shorter span. MS Dhoni took 166 innings to record 256 catches throughout his career. Syed Kirmani, who represented India in 88 Test matches between 1976 and 1986, completed 160 catches in 151 innings before retiring from Tests. In contrast, Pant grabbed this milestone in just 86 innings.

Pant bagged the towering milestone after grabbing Ollie Pope's catch on Day 3 of the first Test against England.
