In Test cricket, players have taken hat-trick a total of 48 times. 44 bowlers have recorded this epic feat to their name and four of them have achieved it on two different occasions.

England is on top of this list as they have 15 Test hat-tricks recorded in front of their name. Legendary pacer Stuart Broad has taken two hat-tricks for them with the red ball. He took them against Sri Lanka and India. Gus Atkinson was the last English bowler to take a Test hat-trick.

Australia is second on the list with 11 Test hat-tricks. Australia's Fred Spofforth was the first bowler to take a Test hat-trick in hitory. He did it against England at the MCG back in January 1879. Hugh Trumble and Jimmy Matthews are two Aussie bowlers to record this feat twice. Both did it back in early 90s (Trumble - 1902, 1904 and Matthews - 1912, 1912). Peter Siddle was the last Australian to take a hat-trick in Tests.

Pakistan is third on the list with five of their bowlers taking up 6 hat-tricks in the purest format of the game. Legendary Wasim Akram has taken two Test hat-tricks. Noman Ali is the latest in their list and the first Pakistan spinner to record a red-ball hat-trick in International cricket.

West Indian comes next with four Test hat-tricks. However, they don't have a single red-ball hat-trick to their name in last two decades. The last bowler to take a hat-trick for them was Jermaine Lawson and he did that back in May 2003. Wes Hall (1959), Lance Gibbs (1961), Courtney Walsh (1988) are the other Windies bowler to have achieved this epic feat.

Then at the fifth spot, it is India with 3 hat-tricks to their name. Harbhajan Singh was the first Indian to take a hat-trick, he did that against Australia at the Eden Gardens. After him, Irfan Pathan became the first Indian pacer to pick up a hat-trick and he did that against Pakistan in Karachi. Premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah is the last Indian bowler to take a hat-trick with red-ball, he did it against West Indies in Kingston.
