India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal will reportedly feature for Mumbai's upcoming Ranji Trophy 2025 clash against Rajasthan ahead of the South Africa Test series. The southpaw's last cricketing outing came in the two-Test series against West Indies in Ahmedabad and New Delhi, respectively.
Why will Yashasvi Jaiswal play Ranji match?
Indian Express reported that Jaiswal has informed the Mumbai Cricket Association that he will be available for Mumbai’s next Ranji Trophy fixture against Rajasthan.
Following BCCI's rules that all contracted players must feature in domestic tournaments when not on national duty, the 23-year-old will join the team in Jaipur for the upcoming clash starting on November 1. The Mumbai squad is expected to reach Jaipur on October 30.
