United Kingdom, March 31, 2025 – The EaseMyTrip World Championship of Legends Season 2 continues its iconic run, now welcoming West Indies legends Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard back to professional T20 cricket with the West Indies Champions.
Bravo shared, "It's great to be representing the West Indies once again - I'm incredibly excited to play with and against good friends and cricketing legends."
Bravo, one of the format’s most prolific all-rounders, claimed 631 wickets across 582 matches between 2004 and 2021. On teaming up with Pollard again, he added, “Polly and I have been good friends for such a long time. Now, we represent our nation once more in the EaseMyTrip World Championship of Legends.”
Pollard, who led the West Indies from 2019 to 2022 and has over 11,000 T20 runs, reacted to Bravo’s return saying, “We played together for many years for West Indies and in franchise cricket - it's nice to be able to do that once again.” Reflecting on his own international return, he added, “For me too, coming back feels special. To once again wear the colours of West Indies Champions and compete with legends is something I couldn’t pass up.”
Ajay Sethi, Owner of West Indies Champions, said, “It’s like reliving history. Bravo and Pollard returning together defines the golden era of West Indies cricket. These two have been the face of West Indies T20 success for years, and to see them walk out in maroon again is emotional not just for fans, but for the entire cricketing world. This is not just a comeback; it’s a celebration of legacy.”
Harshit Tomar, Founder & CEO of the EaseMyTrip World Championship of Legends, noted, “WCL is not just about retired players and legends—we also focus on cricketers who are still actively playing around the world but are not centrally contracted with their respective boards. Our goal is to offer fans the best of cricket—intense competition on the field while bringing their favorite legends back into action.
Pollard and Bravo have always been among my favorites as well. With them back in the squad, the West Indies Champions team looks incredibly strong!”
Nishant Pitti, Chairman and Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip and Chief Patron of the EaseMyTrip World Championship of Legends, added, “We are proud to have Pollard and Bravo back. Their star power will ignite this season and create unforgettable moments for fans across the globe. At EaseMyTrip, we believe in making dreams travel — and this comeback is exactly that, a dream return for two icons of the game.”
