England Women's team led by Nat Sciver-Brunt has been fined five per cent of their match fees for maintaining slow over-rate against India in the first ODI of the series that visitors won by four wickets at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.
The hosts were fined five per cent of their match fees as they were just one over above the allotted time to complete the innings.
In addition, Indian opener Pratika Rawal was fined 10 per cent of her match fees and handed one demerit point for physical altercations with England pacer Lauren Filer and Sophie Ecclestone.
"Rawal and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt accepted their respective sanctions imposed by match referee Sarah Bartlett, so there was no need for a formal hearing," the ICC said in a statement.

The altercations took place in the 18th and 19th over. The opener was dismissed bowled by left-arm spinner Ecclestone in the 19th over for a 51-ball 36.
"In the 18th over, she made avoidable physical contact with bowler Lauren Filer while taking a single, and after being dismissed in the next over, she made similar avoidable contact with bowler Sophie Ecclestone on her way back to the dressing room," the ICC said.
Record win for India
After Rawal's wicket, Jemimah Rodrigues's 48 followed by Deepti Sharma's unbeaten 64-ball 62 and Amanjot Kaur's cameo helped India chase down the target of 259 with 10 balls to spare. This was India's second-highest successful run chase in the format.
Next stop at Lord's
The second ODI of the series will be played on July 19 at Lord's, London. Earlier, on the tour, India registered a historic 3-2 T20I series win.
