A Ghaziabad woman accused Yash Dayal of sexual exploitation

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star pacer Yash Dayal has landed himself in big trouble as an FIR (First Information Report) has been lodged against him under Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). This action follows serious allegations of sexual harassment and exploitation under the pretext of marriage made against him by a woman residing in Ghaziabad. The FIR was lodged at the Indirapuram police station after a preliminary investigation was conducted into a complaint that was initially filed through the Chief Minister’s grievance portal, known as IGRS.

Section 69 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita specifically addresses sexual acts that are committed based on deceitful promises, such as false assurances of marriage or employment. This section of the law considers such acts to be a form of fraud and exploitation, and it carries a potential punishment of up to ten years in prison for those found guilty.

According to the details outlined in the complaint, the woman has alleged that she was involved in a five-year-long relationship with Yash Dayal. During this period, she claims that he subjected her to mental, physical, and financial exploitation under the false pretense of marriage. The complainant further stated that Dayal had introduced her to his family and behaved in a manner that suggested they were already a married couple, which deepened her trust in him. However, when she confronted him regarding his intentions, she alleges that he became violent and continued to harass her.

In her complaint, the woman also mentioned that Dayal had taken money from her throughout the course of their relationship. Additionally, she has reportedly claimed that he has engaged in similar behavior with other women in the past. To substantiate her allegations, she stated that she possesses various forms of evidence, including chat records, screenshots, video call recordings, and photographs.
