Dravid's argument with the auto driver has sparked 'Indiranagar ka gunda' memes.

Former India men's cricket team head coach Rahul Dravid who helped Rohit Sharma-led side win ICC T20 World Cup 2024 was involved in a minor car accident in Bengaluru on February 4. In a video that is making rounds on social media, Dravid can be seen having a heated argument with an auto driver.

The incident took place on Cunningham Road which is near M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. The auto was carrying goods. People on social media have explained that Dravid was trying to explain that the accident was not his fault. As per a report by Indiatimes, the witnesses made it clear that it was the auto driver who had applied breaks abruptly leading the accident.

The auto driver seemed to accept his fault in the accident but said that Dravid could have avoided the accident as well. After the argument, Dravid left but not before taking the auto driver's phone number.

So far, Dravid has not filed an FIR. Noone was injured in the accident. However, the accident has sparked 'Indiranagar ka Gunda' meme on social media. A few years ago, Dravid had done an advertisement where he shed his 'nice guy' image and had altercations with other drivers in the heavy Bengaluru traffic. The advertisement became a reality as Dravid's car collided with an auto carrying commercial goods.

RR have not won an IPL season since the inaugural edition when legendary Shane Warne was their captain. RR reached the Qualifier 2 last season where they were knocked out by Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The last time they reached the final was in IPL 2022. Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) in their maiden IPL season beat RR to win the trophy.
