Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh is being brutally abused for sharing the ‘All eyes on Rafah’ template from her official Instagram account. The template has been shared from more than 37 million accounts so far. It is a social media trend that started to show support for Palestine amidst its war with Israel. Many celebrities across the globe have been posting this from their handles and so did Ritika. However, she had to face a lot of criticism and abuse because of it.

 

Ritika Sajdeh faces online abuse

 

Ritika Sajdeh's Instagram post comment section is filled with people abusing her and her family. The same people even extended this hate to the Indian cricket team's captain Rohit Sharma. This all started after Israel's airstrike on Gaza's city of Rafah which killed 45 people. After this, ‘All eyes on Rafah’ started trending all over social media. Apart from Ritika, Irfan Pathan and Sania Mirza are some of the superstars who also shared this on their stories.

As for now, Rohit Sharma is with Team India preparing for the upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 which will be held in the United States and West Indies. The Men in Blue are placed in Group A along with Pakistan, Ireland, USA, and Canada. They will start their campaign with the clash against the Ireland in New York, on June 5. Then the focus will completely be on the much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan as they will go one-on-one against their arch-rivals Pakistan at the same venue, on June 9.
