Sareen Sports Industries (SS) was crowned the 'Best Sports Brand of the Year' by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on December 4. The Managing Director of SS received the award at Hyatt Regency in New Delhi. Many prominent Indian and foreign players including current T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav use sports equipment manufactured by SS. 
 

A day later, an ecstatic Sareen shared his excitement after winning the award on his social media account.

“It is with immense pride that we announce our victory, made possible by the relentless dedication of our entire team and the unwavering support of our valued customers and partners,” the post read.

In addition to Sareen, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah was awarded the Sports Business Leader of the Year award. 
 

“A first for any leader in Indian Sports administration, this recognition is truly deserved,” BCCI said in a statement.
 

“His leadership has left an indelible mark on Cricket worldwide— spearheading the ICC Men's World Cup to new heights, championing inclusivity with significant strides in pay parity and the creation of the Women's Premier League, steering the inclusion of Cricket at the Olympics, and many more groundbreaking initiatives that have changed the game forever!”
