Afghanistan star spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman made his international comeback after recovering from a right phalanx sprain as the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced their T20I and ODI squads for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Apart from Mujeeb, young talented top-order batter Zubaid Akbari also got the national call-up for the T20I series. Akbari is one of the standout performers in domestic cricket and was one of the lethal batters in the Emerging Asia Cup. The captain of that side, Darwish Rasooli, has made his return to the T20I setup after being rewarded for his domestic form.

We have included both players in the T20I squad and wish them the very best for the upcoming series."
