The run chase was a masterclass in aggressive batting, with the Mosca brothers stitching together an unbroken opening partnership. Justin anchored the innings with a steady 60 off 44 balls, while Anthony provided the explosive spark, smashing a rapid 62 from just 32 deliveries. Together, they made short work of Nepal's total of 123, leaving the opposition without a single breakthrough.
Italy bowlers break Nepal's back
Italy's win was set up earlier in the day by a disciplined bowling effort, particularly from their spin department. Ben Manenti was exceptionally economical, finishing with figures of 2/9, while Crishan Kalugamage proved to be the primary threat, taking 3/18. Their ability to maintain tight lines and lengths effectively strangled the Nepalese batting lineup, eventually bowling them out for 123 in 19.3 overs.
