Al-Nassr wants to sign former Manchester United star
Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr wants to sign former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood this summer. According to MARCA, Ronaldo wants a reunion with his former Manchester United Red Devils teammate at Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr signed Ronaldo's Portugal teammate, Joao Felix earlier this summer. They are also interested in getting Greenwood, who had a great last season with Olympique de Marseille.
Greenwood established himself as one of the biggest names in Europe with Manchester United. But, his career suffered a setback when he was arrested for rape and assault in January 2022.
He did not played a single game for Manchester United after his arrest and spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Getafe. He was sold to Marseille in 2024 where he managed to revive his career and led the scoring charts in Ligue 1 last season.
The 23-year-old played 36 matches for the Ligue 1 side, scoring 22 goals and giving 6 assists. He played 17 matches alongside Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United.
