Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe delighted Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) fans with a win against the Israeli side of Maccabi Haifa 3-1 with star players scoring a goal apiece after being one goal down and surviving a scare to beat the Israeli side emphatically.
Messi added another feather to his already illustrious cap after netting in the Champions League. The former Barcelona superstar has now netted a Champions League goal against 39 different teams - Ronaldo following him closely with 38 goals – with this record number of goals he has also now become the first player to chalk up the feat of having scored in 18 different seasons which is unprecedented.
PSG without question made their fans' day but before the kickoff, their talisman also made the day of the kids that accompanied them out of the tunnel. Notably, their reaction was jubilant and they felt unfettering mirth upon seeing the footballing world’s superstar Lionel Messi.
The kids were awestruck and their happiness was palpable, mouths agape with incredulity and overwhelmed as they all flocked to hug Messi.
