A tribute to Kultida Woods at Genesis Invitational
In a fitting tribute to Tiger Woods mother, Kultida Woods, the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines will feature a special tribute on the seventh hole. The pin flag at this hole will be entirely white, featuring no logos or numbers and honoring her mother's heritage. In Buddhism, white symbolizes purity, wisdom, and longevity. The number seven holds special significance in Buddhist culture, representing the seven factors of enlightenment.
As the tournament moves forward, Davis Thompson currently leads after two rounds with a score of 8-under par and is narrowly ahead of Scottie Scheffler by a single shot.
