India continues to show their dominance against Pakistan, and this time, it was in hockey. The team crushed their traditional rivals 19-0 to book their place in the semifinals of the 2026 Women’s Junior Asia Cup in Moqi, China, on Thursday. The defending champions have been top of the table following their victories over Japan, Malaysia and South Korea.

This comes after the Indian Women’s Cricket Team beat Pakistan by 7 wickets in Dubai to extend their Women's Asia Cup winning streak. All thanks to Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma, who sealed the 55-run chase.

Back to hockey, the Indian women are awaiting the winner of the quarterfinal clash between South Korea vs Malaysia. Puja Sahoo opened the scoring in the 7th minute of the game, followed by Roshni Aind’s stunning strike in the ninth minute. She scored twice, as her other goal came in the 60+ minute.
Tanushree Dinesh Kadu then added at the 11th just two minutes before Sukhveer Kaur added at the 13th minute. Soon after this, Sanika Chandrakant Mane added India’s fifth, which was one of her two goals. Her other one came in the 23rd minute. Madhu Sidar also added two in the 16th and 39th minutes.
Geeta Yadav added another at the 18th minute, which was followed by Tanuja Toppo at the 25th. Two minutes later, Pooja Malika scored her first of three at the 27th minute, as the other two came in the 49th and 51st minutes. She was the top scorer of the game.
Purnima Yadav added at the 33rd which was followed by Supriya’s 40th-minute strike. Her other one came in the 54th minute. Krishna Sharma and Binima Dhan then added at the 48th and 55th minutes.
