Fernando Alonso started back in 2001 F1 season

 

The Spaniard who drives for Aston Martin has a total of 396 race starts to his name. The latest start was at the Marina Bay circuit where the Singapore Grand Prix was hosted. Alonso managed to score four points as he finished in the eighth spot.

 

He is still four races away from reaching the landmark of 400 race starts in Formula 1 and he could easily achieve this feat in the 2024 season itself. Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the 22nd race of the 2024 season and it could very well become a race to remember for the Spaniard and his team as well.

 

The two-time Formula 1 champion, Fernando Alonso in his long F1 career has 32 race wins and 106 podiums to his name.

Lewis Hamilton reaches 350 race starts

 

While driving for Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton yet again etched his name in history books after claiming another F1 record to his name. He became the second driver after Alonso to have 350 race starts to their name. He achieved this feat during the recently concluded Singapore Grand Prix where the veteran finished in the sixth spot and scored eight points for his team.

 

The seven-time F1 champion, Lewis Hamilton has 105 wins and 201 podiums under his belt.

 

Others on the list for most race starts are Kimi Raikkonen who has 349 race starts to his name and then comes the fifth-placed Rubens Barrichello who has 322 race starts. Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button are tied on 306. The seventh driver on the list is another German in the form of Sebastian Vettel, who has 299 race starts.

 

The existing Red Bull driver, Sergio Perez is eighth on the list as he has 275 race starts to his name and the latest one was at the Singapore Grand Prix. Felipe Massa comes ninth on the list as he has 269 race starts. Last but not least, Daniel Ricciardo takes the tenth spot as he has 257 race starts and the latest came in the form of the Singapore Grand Prix.
