It looks like that the wonderkid Jesse Love is all geared up to receive a call to the NASCAR Cup Series as he will make his long-awaited debut next month at the Bristol International Speedway, it has been made official. 

Jesse Love will be racing for Richard Childress Racing at the Bristol International Speedway

The Richard Childress Racing team confirmed of Friday, March 28th that the 20-year-old phenom will drive the #33 car in Bristol on Sunday, April 13 after a spectacular start to his Xfinity Series season.

He has been on the NASCAR's radar for quite some time now as he won the 2020 ARCA Menards Series West championship at the age of 16. He turned 20 on January 14 and till now, he has five top-ten finishes to his name in the first six races of the season. He also sits third in the points table ahead of the March 19 Marine Corps 250 at Martinsville. 

In a statement on the team's website, Love said, Racing in the Cup Series has always been my main goal and dream. Everything that I have done up to this point in my career has been building to this moment.

To make my Cup Series debut at this age is very special, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make it with RCR. Everyone has welcomed me with open arms over the last year and the organization feels like family, Love added.

The team chairman of Richard Childress further added, I’m excited to have Jesse make his Cup Series debut in the No. 33 Chevrolet. From the moment I started watching Jesse race, I knew that he had the talent. He has the passion for wanting to win and doing the best possible for his team.

To be a great driver, you have to have passion behind the wheel and Jesse has that. We’ve seen him develop over the last year since he joined RCR, and I look forward to helping him compete at the highest level of our sport.

Jesse Love finished the 2024 season on a high as the claimed the eighth spot in the championship standings and also won the Rookie of the Year award. His first career Xfinity win came at the Talladega Superspeedway. He even joined Venturini Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series for the 2022 and 2023 season. He even registered 10 wins in the ARCA Menards Series in 2023, which led him winning the championship easily.
