Golden chance to assure medals
Indian athletes have a shot at confirming two medals on August 4. If Lovlina Borgohain wins her quarterfinal bout, People's Republic of China's Li Qian, she will confirm a medal for India at the Games. She will also become the first Indian boxer to win two medals at the Olympics.
India’s star shuttler Lakshya Sen will go up against former world no.1, Denmark's Victor Axelsen. If he overcomes Axelsen, he will be confirmed at least a silver medal, India’s first at the ongoing Games. However, if he loses, he will play the loser of the other semifinal match for bronze medal match.
