The highly anticipated boxing match between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul has been rescheduled after an unexpected delay. Originally set for July 20, the bout was pushed back following a flight scare Tyson experienced on May 26 while traveling from Miami to Los Angeles. After the incident, Tyson required medical attention and was advised to rest, with doctors recommending he refrain from training for several weeks.

According to a statement, “During a follow-up consultation on Thursday with medical professionals on his recent ulcer flare-up, the recommendation is for Mike Tyson to do minimal to light training over the next few weeks and then return to full training with no limitations,” as reported by ESPN.
