Khabib Nurmagomedov Congratulates Magomed Ankalaev
Khabib Nurmagomedov, widely regarded as Russia's most accomplished and dominant fighter, was thrilled to witness a fellow countryman emulate his success by claiming gold at UFC 313.
“Congratulations Brother, Magomed Ankalaev,” Nurmagomedov tweeted after the result was confirmed.
“You made a history. It was amazing performance against very tough opponent.”
After getting the UFC belt wrapped around his waist by Dana White, Ankalaev spoke with Joe Rogan.
“I can’t even put it into words,” he said.
“It’s been such a long way, and here is my dream, it’s on my waist.
