Strong allegations of backstage favoritism involving a prominent WWE power couple.

Bold comments questioning whether the duo will face any consequences.

A former WWE star has stirred controversy after claiming that one of the company’s most prominent couples receives special treatment from higher-ups, even amid ongoing public disputes.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch remain two of WWE’s biggest names. Lynch currently holds the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, while Rollins is sidelined due to injury.

Before his absence, The Visionary was embroiled in a heated feud with CM Punk, one that has blurred the lines between storyline and reality.

Seth Rollins’ ongoing tension with CM Punk

Rollins recently reignited discussion around his real-life issues with Punk during an interview with Club Shay Shay. He described Punk as a “rotten friend,” suggesting their differences may never truly be resolved until possibly after their wrestling careers come to an end.

Those comments became a talking point on the Master Class podcast, where former WWE star Danny Burch and his co-host The Master Emir weighed in on the situation.

“I’d fire both their a**es”

Emir did not hold back when discussing the couple’s recent controversies.

“If I had two troublemakers like Mr. and Mrs. Becky Lynch in my company, I’d fire both their a**es because we know Becky came out and she made that statement that there’s a predator in the WWE locker room, which no one’s investigated yet.”

He continued:

“(…) And now you got Mr. Becky Lynch coming out and causing controversy with Uncle Paul’s golden boy, the golden child himself, the most corporate man in wrestling history, the corporate man CM Punk. So, do you think there will be repercussions eventually for the two Lynches? Do you think they’re gonna Lynch themselves?”

The remarks directly questioned whether Rollins and Lynch would face any disciplinary action for their outspoken comments.

“They’re protected”

When asked if consequences were likely, Danny Burch gave a blunt response.

“Nope. Because they’re protected.”

Pressed further on who might be protecting them, Burch added:

“Just they’re protected. So, nothing that happens between those whatever, no one’s gonna know. That’s protected. And it’s Becky Lynch and it’s Seth Rollins, the two top female, top male representatives over there right now.”

The strong statements have sparked debate among fans, especially given the couple’s standing as two of WWE’s top representatives. Whether the company addresses the controversy publicly remains to be seen.
