WWE star Kevin Owens might not get included in John Cena's retirement tour, but he definitely is thinking about him. The former universal champion dressed up as the legendary wrestler as he and his family celebrated Halloween early.
Owens has been out of action since March due to a neck injury that has put his in-ring future in danger. The Prizefighter gone through surgery recently and is set to be out for the upcoming future. It is not known, when, or if, he will make a return in the WWE. Regardless, KO has been in high spirits and is spending quality time with his family.
Kevin Owen's wife, Karina shared a few Instagram stories of their family's recent Halloween celebrations, in which Kevis cosplayed as John Cena. He wore the complete attire, and it was revealed to be a hit, as they got free cake at Starbucks as an outcome.
There could be a possibility that Owens did it as his personal tribute to John Cena, after the 17-time world champion's own tribute to him. It is also worth mentioning that KO's son, Owen, is a big fan of John Cena. So there could have been multiple intentions behind the Halloween costume.
Date confirmed for John Cena's final WWE match
WWE has officially announced the date for John Cena's final match. On its website, the sports entertainment giant announced that John Cena will compete in the final match of his storied wrestling career on December 13, 2025.
It was said that he will headline Saturday Night's main event at Monumental Sports & Entertainment's Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
As of now, Cena will turn his attention to Crown Jewel next week, where he will face AJ Styles one final time.
