WWE star Randy Orton threatened to hit a big star with an RKO. The Viper took part in the Men's Royal Rumble match at the PLE last night in Saudi Arabia, but Roman Reigns emerged victorious to book his ticket to WrestleMania 42.
In an interview with GQ, Randy Orton was questioned which celebrity he would like to smash with an RKO. Orton named Timothee Chalamet and suggested that the popular name was the time and place, and he would be there.
"When it comes to celebrities and who I'd like to hit an RKO on, I'd say Timothée Chalamet. I got an RKO with your name on it, buddy. You just give me a time and a place," said Orton.
Orton faced a defeat in a Fatal 4-Way match last weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event to decide Drew McIntyre's rival for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Royal Rumble 2026. Sami Zayne won the fight at SNME but failed to win the title from The Scottish Warrior at the PLE over the weekend.
JBL opines on how WWE features Randy Orton on TV
Wrestling icon JBL recently shared his opinion on how WWE books Randy Orton.
In an interview with VideoGamer, the veteran said that he would use Orton on TV more. He said that The Apex Predator was one of the biggest names in the company and said that the promotion should use him more.
"It is hard to say. I would have him on TV more, in my personal opinion, yes. But you put him on TV more, maybe that can be a negative thing. You don’t know until you do it, and I don’t think you can get too much Randy Orton. I think he’s that good. But I don’t know the answer to that. He is as big a star as there is. When he comes out, everything changes, and that’s important. There are very few guys in business that [sic] can do that. Randy’s one of those guys. So something is going very right with Randy right now." (H/T: Video Gamer)
It will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for Orton in the weeks in the coming future.
