Dean Ambrose also known as Jon Moxley had an impactful stint with WWE before he landed in All Elite Wrestling in 2019, after his exit from the Stamford-based promotion.
Since Ambrose left WWE, fans have talked about his possible return to the big leagues every year. This year is no different, as WWE is getting nearer to the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, which would indeed start the Road to WrestleMania 42.
Reading fan mail on the Keepin'It OFFICIAL regarding the return of Dean Ambrose to WWE, Disco Inferno tipped that the former Champion would come back to the WWE down the line.
"Of course it would," the professional wrestling legend responded to the fan question.
Can Dean Ambrose reunite with the Shield again?
Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling Podcast, Sam Roberts discussed the potential of the Shield reunion in WWE and expressed his opinion before it's all done and dusted.
"The only name that I could really, really think of is Mox, and if he came back, and he would probably come back as Dean Ambrose. And I would think that that would be the way to do it. But if he came back as Dean Ambrose, because then, I mean, think about not only are there all these matches that you could have, not only are those stories that you could tell, but you know whether you did it the night he came back, whether you did it later on. The idea of having Seth, Roman, and Mox in a ring together, even just looking at each other, I mean, buildings would crumble to the ground if that happened, it'd be so nuts," Roberts said.
That said, it will be interesting to see when Ambrose will return to WWE.
