Dreamer says New York’s notoriously tough crowd delivered massive love for Cena’s last-ever RAW.

Cena now heads toward his final two matches: Survivor Series and his December 13 farewell bout.

Veteran wrestler Tommy Dreamer recently spoke about John Cena's final appearance on WWE RAW. The Cenation leader made his last appearance on the red brand this week.

It was a packed audience at Madison Square Garden as Mr. Hustle Loyalty & Respect pulled up for his final RAW appearance. The current intercontinental champion was greeted with cheers as he started the show. The Cenation leader was also feeling the energy of the fans and addressed the WWE Universe.

On a recent edition of the Busted Open podcast, Dreamer compared the fan reaction from this week and last week in Cena's hometown of Boston. The ECW originally believed that the New York fans were louder. He noted that the whole programme was built on Cena's last outing at the historic venue, and it delivered on all levels.

"If I'm comparing last week's show to this week's show, I think the fans were louder for John Cena in Madison Square Garden than they were in Boston." He continued, "The energy for that in Madison Square Garden, a lot of replays, but different. The show opens up with John, and this eruption. You can feel that energy, how it came across on television. It was great. Listen, John Cena and his last ever Monday Night RAW. I just thought this selling point was Cena's last time at Madison Square Garden and his last ever Monday Night RAW, and it totally delivered."

John Cena deserves all the love

During the same episode, Tommy Dreamer noted that the New York fans are generally hard to please. However, he was happy that the WWE Universe gave Cena the respect that he deserved.

"It really made me wish I was there live tonight in attendance to see and feel that energy. Again, man, it was cool to see New York giving him his props. They are the harder of hardest audiences of all time. And they truly, truly gave John and showed John tons of love."

John Cena has two more dates left on his farewell tour. He will compete at Survivor Series later this month, followed by his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.
