National Basketball Association (NBA) legend Michael Jordan's daughter Jasmine Jordan paid homage to her five-year-old son Rakeem on National Son's Day. Jasmine took to her Instagram and shared an image of her son Rakeem cooking. She called her son her favourite chef and celebrated him for the day.

Jasmine Jordan is Michael Jordan's third child and the first daughter with ex-wife Juanita Vanoy. Jasmine Jordan made the six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan a grandparent for the first time when she welcomed her son, Rakeem Michael Christmas in 2019 with her husband Rakeem Christmas.
While talking to Andscape in 2020, Jasmine described Michael Jordan as 'so soft' and he is 'super involved' as a grandfather. She also spoke about Jordan's reaction after becoming a grandparent for the first time.
"It took him a minute to actually understand like, ‘Dang, I’m a grandpa. He never wants to feel like he’s old, but he is a grandpa, and he loves it. He loves playing with his grandson and it’s something that I think he never knew he was gonna love as much as he does," Jasmine said.
While Jasmine has never played Basketball, she is connected to the sport through her father's brand, Jordan. She studied sports management at Syracuse University and was basketball operations coordinator for the Hornets. She is currently working as a field representative in sports marketing for the brand, Jordan.

Jasmine Jordan shared a heartfelt message for her son, Rakeem who graduated from his pre-school and started going to Kindergarten. Jasmine shared the images of her son in his graduation robe and his first day at Kindergarten.
She also shared a message in the caption stating, "This Guy Right Here🥹 We say goodbye to the summer and goodbye to pre-school. Kindergarten🍎📚.. we in here!! I’m so proud you son. You amaze me every single day and there isn’t a single thing you can’t do. Here’s to your next chapter and new beginnings! I love you with all of me 🤟🏾. Aim high my baby 🚀"
