The Phoenix Suns, the No. 4 seed, are set to face the No. 2 seed Las Vegas Aces at the eagerly awaited WNBA Finals, which is around the corner. For the first time ever in the history of the league, it will be a best-of-seven series which will follow a 2-2-1-1-1 format. Mercury, the three-time champions, beat the Minnesota Lynx to reach the finals while two-time winners Aces overcame Caitlin-Clark-less Indiana Fever with a score of 107-98, in overtime.
The first two games will be hosted by the Aces before the series shifts to PHX Arena in Phoenix for Game 3 and 4. If necessary, Game 5 will be returned to the Las Vegas location, while Phoenix will host the final game of the series. Aces will be vying for their third WNBA Championship trophy in four years while the opponents are gearing up to win their first title since 2014. Las Vegas won the regular series against its WNBA Finals opponents with a score of 3-1.
