The contract, which averages approximately $1.67 million per year, keeps the reigning MVP and two-time WNBA champion in Las Vegas through 2028. It was negotiated by Wilson’s agent, Jade-Li English of Klutch Sports Group.

The deal comes as the WNBA continues to experience rapid growth in popularity, viewership, and revenue following its landmark CBA extension. Wilson, widely regarded as the face of the league and a generational talent, led the Aces to back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023.

The supermax designation rewards her elite performance and loyalty to the franchise that drafted her No. 1 overall in 2018. The signing is seen as a major victory for the Aces’ front office and a significant milestone for women’s basketball, highlighting the league’s push toward more competitive player compensation.
