Sacramento Kings' star De'Aaron Fox has started to make rounds in the trade market ahead of the February 6 deadline. Fox and Kings haven't been able to reach a common standpoint related to his contract extension, and this could lead to the culmination of his stint in Sacramento. It is not a secret that Fox's preferred new harbor is San Antonio Spurs. However, details of a potential trade are still unknown. Former Clippers star Lou Williams contemplates whether the Spurs would be willing to include Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell in the mix for to promulgate a deal for Fox.

Lou Williams Likes the Idea of Fox Teaming Up with Wembanyama
Speaking to FanDuel TV's Run It Back, Williams inclined that he likes the idea of Fox playing alongside Victor Wembanyama but highlights that Spurs will have to give up someone valuable in order to acquire Fox.
“You got young talent. You can’t get something for nothing, right? Somebody has to go.”
San Antonio has the young talent to make a deal work, but it is difficult to gauge their willingness. Williams continued,
“You got [Devin] Vassell, you have [Stephon] Castle, you have all these young pieces that you were willing to build around. But when you have a guy that’s going into his prime at 27-28 years old… you got to test it. You got to see what can happen.”
The Spurs would not want to waste another year of Wembanyama's peak. Nevertheless, they would also not want to make any hasty decision and regret it later. Bringing Fox on board would solidify Spurs' attack, however, their only concern would be that a deal to bring in Fox could take as many as three players away from their young core.
