Having lost four games in a row, the Denver Nuggets are in a spot of bother. While Nikola Jokic is at it and doing everything he can to keep the Nuggets afloat, his effort is not reaping results for the team as a helping hand from Jamal Murray is not there at the scene for a considerable period. Murray has remained out since the March 26 match-up against the Milwaukee Bucks owing to a hamstring injury, one that appeared to be non-serious initially but has kept him out for a prolonged duration.

Denver Nuggets Coach Provides Update On Jamal Murray's Recovery
Following the loss against the Pacers on Sunday, Denver Nuggets coach Michael Malone opened up on the injury of star point guard Jamal Murray and provided an update on his potential return.
As per Malone, Murray may not become fully fit before the playoffs. "Hopefully, he's able to be back by the playoffs," Malone said. "This has been a weird one. It was day-to-day, day-to-day, and then next thing you know, it's not day-to-day."
Malone emphasized that Murray isn't being held out for precautionary reasons - he's genuinely injured.
"Jamal's hurt. It's not 'careful.' He's hurt," the coach explained. "So there's a big difference. 'Careful' is if a guy can play, and you want to be smart. We're not in a situation to do that. There are six teams vying for four [playoff] spots. So if Jamal Murray is not out there, it's not 'careful.' It's because he literally just is not able to play at the moment."
Murray has complemented Jokic well this season. He has averaged 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game till now. With a 47-32 record, Denver currently stands at 4th in the Western Conference table. They are left with three more games in the regular season. They will take on the Sacramento Kings, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Houston Rockets this week.
