Kevin Durant has finally responded to the burner account rumors when the Houston Rockets star was directly asked about the viral claim. The forward faced reporters after screenshots from a private X (formerly Twitter) group chat went viral on the internet regarding the comments made about teammates. 

After all the speculations online, Durant stayed silent about the topic. Neither did he confirm the ownership of the account, nor did he engage in a lengthy defense. However, when asked directly about it, Durant finally responded to the allegations, and here is what the former Brooklyn Nets player has said. 

Durant is fed up with Twitter burner account allegations 

Durant does not want people to buy on rumors. When asked about the alleged burner account situation, the NBA legend replied: 

"I know you’ve got to ask these questions, but I’m not here to get into Twitter (X) nonsense.”

The four-time Olympic gold medalist continued in a backstage interview:

“I’m just here to focus on the season and keep it pushing, but I get that you have to ask those questions."

The Rockets player further added: 

"My teammates know what it is, we’ve been locked in the whole season. Enjoyed our break and we had a great practice today. We’re looking forward to the road trip."
