Latest update on Luka Doncic's fitness status against Golden State Warriors

The good news is that Luka Doncic is not one of the players in the injury report, as the Slovenian player's availability is certain. Luka Doncic missed four preseason games but was seen in action in the team's last tune-up game against the Sacramento Kings. Following his playing in the offseason for Slovenia, the Lakers management chose to give rest to the star point guard for the bulk of the preseason.

Update on LeBron James' injury

Meanwhile, LeBron James won't be available in a Lakers uniform on opening night because of his right sciatica injury. The four-time NBA champion remained on the sidelines through all six preseason games. He is looking to make his NBA return in late November, but it will depend on how his recovery phase pans out.

Update on Adou Thiero' injury

Adou Thiero is ruled out as he is recovering from a right knee injury after going through a surgery. He worked out with assistant coach Lindsey Harding and Austin Pope on Monday. The rookie carried out defensive drills following practice as he continued heading in the direction and closer to full recovery.

Update on Maxi Kleber's fitness

Maxi Kleber suffered a fresh injury and is listed as questionable with an abdominal muscle strain. The former Dallas Mavericks star played only one preseason game, which was the Lakers' sixth and final tune-up contest, and finished with three points and two rebounds
