Sources indicate that Dončić has had limited access to his children since September, including missing two games in December to attend Olivia's birth, while publicly emphasizing their well-being as his top priority amid the emotional turmoil.

Following the split from his longtime partner, the Los Angeles Lakers star told ESPN:
“I love my daughters more than anything.”
The Lakers guard added:
“I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible, so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement.”
The Slovenian continued:
"Everything I do is for my daughters' happiness and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can."
Meanwhile, as per a report by TMZ Sports, Doncic’s now former partner has filed a petition for child support of their two minor daughters. Goltes, according to reports, returned to Slovenia in May last year and has stayed there with his daughters ever since.
Doncic and Goltes began their relationship in Slovenia during their teenage years, and they have a family that includes Gabriela, born in 2023, and Olivia, born in late 2025. The couple's engagement in 2023 had been a high-profile affair. Still, insiders suggest that mounting pressures from Dončić's career demands contributed to the breakdown, underscoring the challenges athletes face in balancing fame and family.
