Story Highlights:

Antetokounmpo listed as probable due to lingering patellar tendinopathy.

The Bucks star is coming off a dominant 41-point performance against Chicago.

Giannis Antetokounmpo reappeared on the Milwaukee Bucks' injury report ahead of a blockbuster clash against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. The Greek player has been troubled by left knee patellar tendinopathy this season. However, the two-time league MVP was not placed on the injury report ahead of the Bucks' previous game against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Latest update on Giannis Antetokounmpo

At that time, it seemed that Antetokounmpo had fully recovered from his injury. However, his reappearance on the injury report has once again sparked concerns about his availability. The one-time NBA champion is listed as "probable" owing to the same problem.

In his last outing, Antetokounmpo shined with another spectacular performance. In the Bucks' 126-110 win against the Bulls, the 6-foot-11 forward dropped an amazing stat line of 41 points, 15 rebounds, nine assists, two steals and two blocks. He shot 16-of-32 from the floor, including 1-of-3 from beyond the arc.

Three more players listed in the injury report

Apart from Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee placed three more players on the injury report. Alex Antetokounmpo  (G League two-way), Kevin Porter Jr. (right meniscus surgery) and Taurean Prince (neck strain) remain sidelined once again.

The Bucks are one of the contenders to win the East this season, especially the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers missing their key players. Doc Rivers' team has started the season well, currently sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 6-3 record.
