With only a few hours remaining before the NBA trade window comes to a close, it is high time that the Miami Heat finds a franchise for Jimmy Butler. The relationship between Butler and the Heat has already been tarnished yet as the trade deadline is hovering, there is no development regarding where the 6-time NBA All-Star is headed. The forward is also reportedly adamant on his stance and wants to play only for the Phoenix Suns.

New Development Around Jimmy Butler's Trade
NBA insider Brian Windhorst revealed new information about the seemingly never-ending Butler trade saga. According to Windhorst, Butler is hell-bent on only making a move to the Phoenix and won't entertain any other destination.
“The thing to understand about Jimmy, there’s nothing that he wants to hear right now that doesn’t include getting him to Phoenix. Honestly, I don’t think you could offer him any amount of money or any role on any role & he’s like, I’ll get on the plane, let’s go.”
The Suns was a desired destination early on in Butler's trade drama because they were willing to meet his contractual demands. However, money is no longer the motivator, as Butler is willing to turn down a better contract in favor of Phoenix.
Butler may desire to go to the Suns, but his fate is in the hands of Bradley Beal. The Suns star has a no-trade clause and would have to be the primary trade asset to get Butler to Phoenix. Furthermore, recent happenings in the league may make Butler's objective more difficult.
Jimmy Butler's trade is one of the hot topics of discussion in the NBA world. It is no secret that the forward intends to culminate his stint with the Miami Heat, but the exit door is opaque. So far a mediocre interest has been shown by the franchises, moreover, the Heat will also not accept the first offer that will come their way for Buttler. They would require something of value. Ideally, a trade package that keeps them in the playoff fray.
