The top-seeded Detroit Pistons staved off elimination with a commanding 115-94 road victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6 on Friday night, knotting the Eastern Conference Semifinals at 3-3 and setting up a winner-take-all Game 7 on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena.

Cade Cunningham spearheaded Detroit’s balanced attack, while the Pistons shot over 52% from the field and forced 20 Cleveland turnovers. The visitors dominated the second half, outscoring the Cavaliers 61-43 after halftime in a decisive display of resilience. 

Detroit improved to 4-0 in elimination games this postseason, showcasing its playoff mettle against a Cleveland team that had taken a 3-2 series lead. Game 7 on Sunday will decide the Eastern Conference Finals matchup against the New York Knicks.
 
As the higher seed, the Pistons will host with home-court advantage, but both franchises view the decisive contest as a chance to reach their first Conference Finals in years.
