From fans to analysts, the Los Angeles Lakers’ star has been heavily criticized following the advertisement stunt and this new one is even more brutal. Matt Barrie has some suggestions for the NBA icon as the 41-year-old is now sidelined for 3-4 weeks following injury. The veteran ESPN reporter during Thursday evening’s SportsCenter, as soon as the injury report was out, said:
“Hey Christine, I have an idea. Maybe he can rub some Hennessy on it and everything will be fine.”
Christine Williamson, the host also took advantage of the time to take on the hoop superstar by saying:
“Hey, I don’t know about rubbing it on it, but if he takes a few shots maybe it wouldn’t hurt!”

Earlier, Stephen A. Smith had taken a funny jab at LeBron, who is expected to miss out on the opener of the upcoming regular season. The NBA analyst stated, during his appearance on the latest episode of First Take, that he did not expect such “corny” and “cringy” stunts from “the second best player who ever lived.”
The ESPN journalist further suggested that LeBron, who will be entering his 23rd NBA season, would rather win another championship than “try to garner attention for himself.”

Meanwhile, the Lakers are without their superstar in the pre-season and already 2-0 in the exhibition game. They will next face the Golden State Warriors followed by a game against the Phoenix Suns.
