The 2025-26 NBA season is almost moving towards its end to find the winner of the year. However, before that, two teams will fight for a place on the NBA Finals. The top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder will host the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs in Game 1 of the 2026 Western Conference Finals on Monday at Paycom Center.

Spurs and Thunder to face off at Western Conference Finals

The best-of-seven series, featuring two of the NBA’s youngest and most talented rosters, is all set for a blockbuster series this season.

Oklahoma City earned the No. 1 seed with a dominant 64-18 regular-season record and home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, while the Spurs secured the No. 2 spot at 62-20.

The matchup pits MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and defensive standout Chet Holmgren against rising superstar Victor Wembanyama. San Antonio went 4-1 against OKC in the regular season, but the Thunder have been nearly unstoppable at home.

Meanwhile, Game 1 between the top two West teams will begin on Monday, May 18th, where the Spurs and the Thunder will begin their journey to reach the NBA Finals.
