Stephen Curry slammed a media outlet over a post.

Curry's Golden State Warriors defeated Detroit Pistons on Thursday.

In the wake of the semi-final 1 of the College Football played last night, Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry became involved in the state of affairs of the Notre Dame vs Penn State game out of nowhere. Steph didn't have the best of times on the court on Thursday as he struggled to shoot with a thumb injury, however, he did just enough to contribute to his team's thrilling win over the Detroit Pistons at the Little Caesars Arena. Following the culmination of the match, it was the College Football semi-final that drew Chef's attention.

Stephen Curry Unloads on Media Outlet Over a Post

Notre Dame was chasing Penn State and were behind by seven points midway in the fourth quarter. However, the former made a striking comeback after Jaden Greathouse broke not one but two Nittany Lions players' ankles en route to a 54-yeard touchdown. The play prompted the creative minds of a prominent sports publishing website to post a video comparing Greathouse's nasty moves with the time that Steph sprained his MCL after getting crossed up by the Rockets in Game 4 of Round 1 of the 2016 playoffs, leaving him injured for the rest of the game and the next four games.

That was from GSW's memorable 73-9 season that ended in a heartbreaking Game 7 finals loss to LeBron James' Cavaliers. Curry has lasting memories of the season, and the post did not land well with him. The 4-time NBA champion replied stating, "Need Clicks that bad huh????"

Curry's reply made the media outlet to realise its mistake and following that it did not take long to take down the tweet.

After two straight losses, the Golden State Warriors returned to winning ways on Thursday when they defeated the Detroit Pistons in a thrilling encounter at the Little Caesars Arena. As the margin of the victory was only three points, the king of threes was not even close to his best in the game. Playing with a strained thumb, Stephen Curry could only register 17 points and 6 assists. Unconcerned by that, Steph made it known that in the end, it is the victory that matters most.
