Story Highlights:

Warriors star was averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game before his season-ending injury

Warriors are now set to face the Toronto Raptors in their upcoming match of the ongoing NBA 2025-26 regular season

The Golden State Warriors’ season has not been going as planned, and to make it worse, the franchise will be without its star player for the remainder of the season. The Warriors are 8th in the Western Conference with a disappointing 25-19 record.

Jimmy Butler out for the remainder of Warriors’ season due to knee injury

Jimmy Butler will be out for the entire Warriors season, as per a report by Shams Charania. The ESPN journalist wrote:

“Golden State Warriors star Jimmy Butler has suffered a season-ending torn right ACL, sources tell ESPN.”

The injury took place when Butker came awkwardly down after leaping for a rebound. It was in the third quarter of the team’s 135-112 win over the Miami Heat. After suffering a knee injury, the Warriors forward was helped off the court and back to the locker room by teammates Buddy Hield and Jonathan Kuminga at the Chase Center.

With this devastating news, the Dubs add Butkler to their injury list, which already includes names like Draymond Green, Gui Santos, and Kuminga. This has left the side with very few forwards in the team.

Butler was averaging 20.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game before his season-ending injury. Meanwhile, the Warriors are now set to face the Toronto Raptors in their upcoming match of the ongoing NBA 2025-26 regular season.
