Stephen Curry Makes Stark Admission Following the Win Over Mavericks
Warriors' talisman Stephen Curry paid heed to the subject of what chances his team possesses in the season and gave a realistic answer. 36-year-old Curry admitted that he is at a stage in his career where it is not certain how long can he continue to play at a high level. Hence, he made it known that the situation comes as desperate, and based on that the signing of Jimmy Butler was made. The 4-time NBA champion concluded it on a positive note by stating that he likes the idea that there is still a chance for the team to go all the way and win the title.
"There's a sense of urgency just because you're not going to be able to do it at this level forever," admitted Curry. "We talked about that pre-trade, which is why Jimmy is here, and we all love the expectations, we love playing for something meaningful, and the only energy you're putting out there is to try and get it done. That's it. We're in a moment where we still can win."
The Warriors are in a precarious stage where they cannot afford to lose many times, however, with the spell of success they are in, they may make the most of the scant chances that are left and showcase a miracle of a kind.
