Team India's home series schedule has been announced for the season 2024-2025.

A total of 17 matches will be played in a span of 5 months.

BCCI has announced Team India's international home fixtures for the season 2024-2025 which will feature 17 matches in a span of five months.

Rohit Sharma-led India's home series will commence in September with Bangladesh touring them for a two-match Test series, followed by three T20Is. Chennai and Kanpur will host the Tests, while Dharamsala, Delhi, and Hyderabad will see the T20I action. Next up, New Zealand arrives for a three-Test series. The opening Test gets underway on October 16th at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The second and third Tests are scheduled for October 24th in Pune and November 1st in Mumbai, respectively.

 

The icing on the cake for India's home season is a limited-overs series against England. The five-match T20I series kicks off on January 22, 2025 in Chennai. The action then moves to Kolkata and Rajkot for the second and third matches on January 25 and 28 respectively. Pune and Mumbai will host the final two T20Is on January 31 and February 2. The ODI series wraps up the tour. India and England will battle it out in Nagpur, Cuttack, and Ahmedabad across three matches, starting on February 6 and concluding on February 12.

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced fixtures for the much-anticipated international home season of Team India (Senior Men) for 2024-25," BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said in a media statement issued on Thursday, June 20.

 

"The international home season will kick off in September with a two-match IDFC First Bank Test series against Bangladesh, followed by a three-match T20I series. Chennai will host the first Test starting on September 19 while Kanpur will host the second Test from September 27. The three T20Is will be played in Dharamshala, Delhi and Hyderabad," Shah added.

 

"This will be followed by a riveting three-match Test series against New Zealand with the first Test starting on October 16 in Bengaluru. Pune and Mumbai will host the second and third Test respectively. The arrival of the New Year will see an exciting white-ball showdown with England visiting India for five T20Is and three ODIs," the statement further added.
