Persistent rainfall and bad weather are being considered as the biggest villains for the most-awaited clash between the Indian cricket team and South Africa in the Final of the ongoing edition of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, on June 29 (Saturday). If the weather plays spoilsport it can ruin things for both teams. This is also the first time that the T20 World Cup Final will be played between two undefeated teams.

Barbados weather to play spoilsport?
As per the ground zero report from Sports Tak, There has been no rain a couple of hours before the start of the match. The sky is clear as well with no sight of rain yet. There can be slight drizzle before the beginning of the match but as for now, it is currently appearing as it won't be playing spoilspot. However, the weather has been really unpredictable lately and there are chances that things might change later on. There are 190 minutes of extra time available for this big clash and also a reserve day.
What happens if rain causes washout?
ICC has allotted 190 minutes of extra time to this Final match in case rain is persistent but if rain causes a washout like it has in the previous few games the game would move to the reserve day but even if the game is not played on reserve day which also has 190 minutes extra time, then both teams will be declared as joint-winners and this will be the first such occasion during a World Cup of any format.
