Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain and legendary batter, MS Dhoni provided yet another moment to savour for his fans when he unleashed the trademark helicopter shot during a practice session at Chepauk. In a video that has gone viral on the internet and prompted fans to jump out of their seats in excitement, Dhoni played his iconic helicopter shot and proved that he still has plenty remaining in his tank.

The high backlift, the searing speed of the bat on its way down and the powerful whip of the wrist, all in one motion, were on full display when Dhoni whacked the ball with his helicopter shot.

Dhoni unleashes a flurry of sixes

Recently, another video of Dhoni's batting during CSK's practice session went viral which showcased the wicketkeeper-batter launching massive sixes and displaying his power-hitting ability. Dhoni unleashed massive sixes down the ground, including a one-handed hit that wowed the onlookers.

Dhoni is in top shape

What will please the CSK supporters the most about MS Dhoni is his fitness. The 42-year-old seems to have added more muscle to his body in the off-season and in whatever videos that have surfaced online in recent times, Dhoni can be seen looking fitter than ever.

These are ominous signs for the CSK franchise and its fans as the franchise looks to defend its Indian Premier League (IPL) crown and extend its trophy haul to six.

Last season, Dhoni played a few important cameos with the bat for the Super Kings. In 16 matches, Dhoni scored 104 runs at a strike rate of 182.46. The right-handed batter smashed three fours and 10 sixes. In the upcoming season, fans are dreaming of watching Dhoni excel with the bat and roll back the clock to the times when he used to single-handedly win and finish matches.
