Days ahead of Irani Cup 2024, Mumbai’s young batter Musheer Khan suffered a fracture in a road accident. Sarfaraz Khan's brother Musheer was travelling from Kanpur to Lucknow with his father-cum-coach Naushad when they met an unfortunate accident.

“So far, the cause of accident is not clear. The car flipped on the road four to five times which resulted in Musheer's serious injury,” the source told Sports Tak.
While there is no official word from Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), Musheer is ruled out of Irani Cup match that is scheduled to take place at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium starting October 1. He is likely to miss the initial phase of the upcoming Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season as well.
