India veteran speedster Mohammed Shami made the headlines for his remarkable performance in the ODI World Cup 2023. His bowling takes Men in Blue to the final in the marquee event hosted by India last year. Soon after the World Cup, Indian tennis star Sania Mirza got separated from his husband Shoaib Malik and soon after her separation, India got flooded with rumours that now she would tie the knot with Shami.

Social media users even shared a few morphed pictures of both athletes where they were seen talking. However, her father Imran Mirza has dismissed all the claims. "This is all rubbish. She has not even met him," Imran told NDTV.
