England security guard pushed a cameraperson at Brisbane airport

The England team was at the airport in order to depart for Adelaide

A security member of the England cricket team was seen pushing a cameraperson of Australian news outlet, Channel 7 at the Brisbane airport on Saturday. Things got heated between the security guard and the cameraperson, leading to the two being involved in a heated verbal exchange.

The incident took place in the morning when the England team was at the airport in order to depart to Adelaide for the third Ashes Test that will commence from December 17. The security guard pushed the cameraperson in an attempt to get close to the players and the two were then involved in an argument.

Here is the video of the incident -

Notably, Cricket Australia (CA) has strictly instructed the media to respect both teams' privacy as they travel to different places in between the Test series.

“The Australian and England teams will not be available for interview while in transit during the NRMA Ashes series. All airport, hotel and transit coverage is vision only and must be captured from a respectful distance," a CA statement read.

England in danger of losing the series

The incident comes as England are 2-0 down in the Ashes series and are desperate to win the next game so that they do not end up losing the series with two matches left to play. The team has come under a lot of scrutiny for  their dismal performances in the first two Tests as they suffered consecutive 8-wicket defeats.
