In what was a nerve-jangling affair between Pakistan and Afghanistan, Naseem Shah's successive sixes in the final over powered the Men in Green to a thrilling one-wicket win in Sharjah on September 7 (Wednesday). As a result of Pakistan's win, both Afghanistan and India were knocked out of the Asia Cup.
Soon after Pakistan registered an emphatic victory, Afghanistan fans in the stands lost their cool and indulged in violence. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Afghanistan fans can be seen uprooting chairs and hurling them towards Pakistan supporters in the stands.

Former Pakistan paceman Shoaib Akhtar was quick to condemn Afghanistan fans' behaviour.
"This is what Afghan fans are doing. This is what they’ve done in the past multiple times. This is a game and it’s supposed to be played and taken in the right spirit. @ShafiqStanikzai, your crowd & your players both need to learn a few things if you guys want to grow in the sport," Akhtar said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, defending a low score of 129/6, Afghanistan bowlers bowled their hearts out against a quality Pakistan batting line-up. The Men in Green, who were cruising towards the finish line at one stage (87/3), completely lost their way as Afghan bowlers kept chipping away at the wickets column.
The match went down to the wire with Pakistan requiring 11 runs off the final over. Naseem Shah then displayed nerves of steel as he smoked back-to-back sixes in Fazalhaq Farooqi's over and ensured a famous win for Pakistan.
