Fans turned out in huge number to witness the ongoing fourth Test between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Ahmedabad on Saturday (March 11). Riding on Usman Khawaja's 180 and Cameron Green's 114 Australia put up a dominant show in the first innings but R Ashwin became India's savior and helped the hosts bundle out hosts to 480. In reply India are 67 for no loss as of 17 overs on Day 3, with openers Rohit Sharma (31 off 46) and Shubman Gill (35 off 56) still intact on crease.
In a must-win clash, India will rely on their bigwigs Rohit and Virat Kohli as they will be expected to score big in order to go past Australia's challenging total. Meanwhile, right before the Day 3's play, Kohli gave a perfect treat to the fans who turned out in huge numbers to just get a glimpse of their superstar batter. Kohli received a thunderous applause the moment he came out of the dressing room for the batting practice.
The entire crowd went into frenzy as soon as Kohli started to to walk through the passage from the dressing room to the ground. The chants of Kohli's name reverberated throughout the stadium. This is how Kohli gave a perfect treat to his fans.

Talking about the match, Ashwin's incredible six-fer helped India make a late comeback and bundle out Australia for 480 after Khawaja and Green's heroics put the visitors on a commanding position in Ahmedabad. Khawaja paired up with Green and followed up his Day 1's centurion-knock with a splendid 180 to put India on back foot. Green too hogged limelight on Day 2 with his maiden Test century as he whacked 114 off 170. But yet again Ashwin became India's savior and sent more than half of the Australian batters to pavilion riding on his sensational spell of 6/91.
Rohit Sharma's brigade need to win the fourth Test to confirm their place in the WTC final which will be held at the Oval in June. Meanwhile, Australia have already fixed their berth in WTC 2021-2023 final after winning the third Test against India.
